Our VBS program is designed best for kiddos K-5th grade! The programs during the week are exciting, fun, and engaging! We will be learning all about God's greatness and what He can do!
Our VBS runs Monday-Friday, 8:30-12:30pm! Registration is free!
*When registering your kiddo, you will notice an option for nursery and preschool aged children. This option is not open to the public but is a service we offer our volunteers with kids too young to participate!

Without our volunteers VBS wouldn't be possible! We have LOTS of positions to choose from! We also offer childcare for volunteers with kiddos that are still too young to participate!
Safety is our first priority for all of the kiddos that enter our church doors. It is standard practice at FBC Chanute that anyone working with children is required to complete a background check!
We will also provide training for all of our volunteers. Trainings will be held in the GNC Classrooms at 6pm on the following dates:

What will my kids be doing?
Great question!
We break up our day into segments! We generally meet all together at the beginning and ending of each day. During this time we learn about our overall lesson for the day and we have worship. During worship we learn fun songs that we will perform for our families at the end of the week during our fun VBS Family Fun Night!
We also have different breakout sessions each day! Games, KidVid Cinema, Bible Adventures, and craft time! Each of these activities are built around our lesson of the day.
We work with the school system each year and every child that participates receives a sack lunch at the end of the day to eat before they go home!

VBS Family Fun Night
Friday night after VBS has wrapped up for the week we host a big Family Fun Night for all of the participating families. The kids perform the songs they learned throughout the week and we have food, fun, and games that the entire family can enjoy!
Donations Needed!
We believe that VBS should be free to every kid that wants to attend. We can't make that happen without your support! We ask that you pray and consider sponsoring a child for VBS this year! The estimated cost per kiddo is approximately $20.
