Project Nehemiah Vision and Mission

Get to know more about the heart of Project Nehemiah.

Vision: To Glorify God By Having a Sacred Space That Can Continue To Offer Discipleship and Fellowship To The Kingdom Citizens Of FBC Chanute. Also Offer Compassion and Hope Through Different Outreach Projects For Our Community and Region.
Mission: To Raise Money Through Promise Giving and Selected Fundraisers To Update Our Facilities So That We Can Continue To Provide Outreach To Our Community and Minister To Our Attenders, Members, and Patrons of FBC Chanute.

This Mission Statement Reflects The Following Key Principles:

Glory to God

The Primary Purpose of A Sacred Space is to Honor and Worship God

Spiritual Growth

The design and function of the building should encourage and nurture the spiritual development of the congregation.

Fellowship and Community

The building should serve as a gathering place for the congregation to connect with each other and strengthen their bonds as a community of faith.

Hope and Compassion

The building should be a welcoming and safe space that offers Truth, Hope and Compassion to all who enter.

Service and Outreach

The building should be a resource for serving the needs of the community and Region by doing works that  demonstrate Christ's love to all.

Needs to be Addressed by Project Nehemiah

Kitchen Needs

Not Enough Space To Cook Meals, Cabinet Space Issues, Counter Space Issues, Dishwasher No Longer Works, Ice Machine No Longer Works, and We Need Bigger Sinks That Can Clean Larger Pots and Pans.

Children's Ministry Needs

Need More Space For Adaptive and Sensory Play Equipment. More Space to Serving Snacks and Drinks. Also Updated Space For Worship and Bible Study Time. These Updates Are Needed For All Ages and Stages Of Children’s Ministry.

Parking Lot

Needs Repaving and Updated In Several Places.

THE Game Show

We are putting the FUN in Fundraising!
Join us for a fun night with a Game Show you have never experienced! This is a family friend event where everyone 5 years and older are welcomed to participate! The nursery will be open for those that are younger!

Put together a team of your best friends and get ready for a night of fun competition! You never know just what might happen so having members on your team from all ages and stages will only be to your benefit!

Teams should have a minimum of 5 members but no more than 8! If your team does not have a full table (8 members) we will be placing those that individually register into teams to complete tables!

Each team will need a team name and will be responsible for decorating their own table and bringing their own snacks! Prizes will be awarded to the best!

All proceeds from the night will go towards our Project Nehemiah! We expect tables to go quickly so click below to register!
