Just Another Tuesday

Just Another Tuesday (JAT) is a ministry at the Otterbein Methodist Church. JAT meals are a drive-thru meal option prepared by various community groups and churches in Chanute. The meals are served Tuesday evening from 5-6pm. They are available to anyone that needs them. A free will donation is asked in return. JAT meals are scheduled to be served every Tuesday. Otterbein Methodist Church is located at 631 W 7th Street in Chanute, KS. Delivery is not available.

Neighbor2Neighbor Food Pantry

Neighbor2Neighbor is a food distribution available to any one who needs it. There are no requirements to receive assistance. Distribution is on Thursdays from 5-6pm.**

**Some dates are subject to change. Please download our app to receive notifications!

*On the Thursdays that Neighbor2Neighbor falls on a Commodity distribution we will distribute food boxes according to income guidelines. Those that qualify for Commodities will receive a commodity box and those whose income does not qualify for Commodities will receive a Neighbor2Neighbor box.

Commodities Food Distribution

Commodity Food Distribution is a government-regulated food distribution hosted by First Baptist Church. Commodities is an income-based giveaway and proof of total household income and a form of ID is needed to pick up a box of food. The income guidelines are listed below:

Maximum Gross Household Income:

1 Person - $1,396
2 People - $1,888
3 People - $2,379
4 People - $2,871

5 People - $3,363
6 People - $3,855
7 People - $4,347
8 People - *$4,839

*Each additional family member, add $492

BOFAS (Box of Food After Service)

BOFAS is available to anyone with food insecurities that attends service with us on Sunday mornings. Stay for service and leave with a box of food. It's THAT simple! Service times are 8am and 10:27am every Sunday morning. Delivery is not available.
